Modern equipment for the meat industry is a guarantee of high competitiveness and quality of the meat products produced. Development of the meat industry, close attention to the quality of meat products, growing competition among raw material suppliers determine the growing requirements for organization of production: humane slaughter, compliance with sanitary standards, quality control at every stage — all these are not only desirable, but absolutely necessary conditions for successful business development. Therefore, production of meat products requires not only high professionalism and responsibility, but also the availability of special high-quality and modern equipment for meat production. Modern meat production implies compliance with a large number of norms and standards.

This is not only the question of being aware of up-to-date information6 but also of availability of the necessary equipment. The production stage, which determines the subsequent characteristics of meat products, is slaughter. Correct slaughter influences the quality and safety of meat. The complex of production operations when slaughtering animals and processing carcases requires using special equipment that ensures the proper quality of slaughter. At the same time, there must be observed the existing hygienic veterinary and sanitary norms, strict rules for waste disposal which requires the use of special containers, even the interior finishing plays an important role. Appropriate conditions must also be created for the personnel of the slaughterhouse in order to comply with the requirements for personal hygiene and prevention of incidents. Equipment and technologies for production of semi-finished products, packaging and transportation of meat and meat products are developing together with the development of the industry.
